Chic' Lits

Ministry Leader: Hopi Hayes

Chic’Lits is a book club for women of Trinity and their friends who love to read.

Members suggest and choose the books that will be read. We try to focus on

books about women, written by women, but love anything we can have a

good discussion about.

Our meetings are on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

at various members’ homes or at Trinity. We start the meeting with a brief synopsis

of the book and a little background on the author. This is normally

presented by the person who suggested the book. This is followed by an

open discussion of the bookOur time together also involves

socializing at which friendships are made and grow. Refreshments are served,

snacks or sometimes a meal.

The only requirements to join the group are to be female and to

possess a love of reading.  It is not necessary to have read the book in

order to attend the meeting. Group welcomes newcomers all year long!

If you need more information, get on our mailing list, host a meeting or lead a book discussion please contact the Trinity office or Hopi Hayes.
